Took time to assess the situation and showed compassion for the trees we requested to remove by offering alternative before agreeing to cut it down. We reluctantly cut it since it was destroying our fence line with a neighbor and growing too far into their property. The cost was reasonable. We did get a quote for cheaper and one for twice the cost, but Joe was the best person and made personal connections with us, showed his care for the tree, was able to provide a contact to help cut up the tree for fire wood, and was clearly an arbor expert. I am several weeks late in complimenting this firm. First, we had a walk through of what we wanted or thought we wanted. Matt helped us determine what was best rather than what we thought would be best. He spent a great deal of time and documented everything on paper and via photos. And then when the crew came - they were fantastic. The had the pictures and the notes. As well as the tags on the specific trees Matt had left. The crew was considerate and enjoyable. Devoted Tree cut and trimmed broken branches on my trees that broke off during the wind storm. They completed the job in record time and within my budget. Very responsive and reliable, from the beginning conversation. Came for a quote on Monday and the service was completed on Wednesday. Even with adding extra services they handled it well and we're able to respond. Cost is competitive but for me quality is important and not causing damage to my trees. I had a good amount of tree damage from the winter storms this year, and after calling several tree services, Devoted was the first to respond. Joe came to give me an estimate, he was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. You can tell he is passionate about his work. I was given a very reasonable quote, they did the work a few days later and it was done exactly as described. I was impressed by them every step of the process from beginning to end. We had a great experience with Devoted Tree Service. Our consulting arborist, Matt, was very knowledgeable and was easy to work with. The work crew was able to come out soon and did fantastic work and left a clean worksite. They also were really nice to our kids, who were super excited to watch Our neighbors had used Devoted and had nothing but good things to say about them, and we feel the same way. They were done quickly and left the area cleaner than they found it. They even had a cancellation and were able to get my job done a little faster than originally planned. The crew from Devoted Tree Solutions were prompt, professional and conscientious about protecting surrounded landscaping and cleaning up while they worked. They removed a large diseased tree that was near our home, between a fence and broadband cable- they quickly and safely cut the tree into sections and removed it from our property. They also crown-cleaned and cobra-cabled a pair of co-dominant douglas firs that had not been trimmed in over 60 years. They cut back a wildly overgrown holly tree, selectively taking out the straggly top 20 feet and trimming it into a more compact and manageable shape. These improvements will help air flow through the canopy, protecting both tree health and home from wind damage from falling branches. We called Devoted Tree Solutions  to trim and prune a distressed tree in our yard, as well as a sculptured shrub.We could not be happier with the results, the crew came in and set up, and went to work. He gave very reasonable feedback for us to consider and make a decision. if we do move forward the quote is super reasonable for the amount of work it would take. I called Devoted Tree Solutions to trim back the trees and bushes that I had let run wild around the perimeter of our property for the last 6 years. I was able to book an estimate right away, and two folks came out to walk the property with me, provide suggestions, and give me an estimate for getting everything cleaned up (they even gave me some advice for keeping my recently-transplanted hydrangea alive). On the day of service (about 3 weeks later), an entire team arrived with a wood chipper and huge truck to haul everything away. By the time it was all done, the truck/trailer was completely full and I had probably regained about 50% of my yard. I still can't believe how much more space and sunlight I have coming into the back, and I can now see my entire house from the driveway. I had a great experience with DTS. They responded to my inquiry promptly and stopped by the next day to give me a free consultation. They gave me a quote on the spot and I appreciated how quickly they responded with details of the quote after leaving. We originally scheduled two weeks out but there was a last minute opening a few days after signing the contract. The team was really professional and I was so impressed with how painless the process was. Our trees looked amazing afterwards! Highly recommend working with these folks. PS We have some palm trees and wanted to find a specialist as we were worried that anyone but a specialist wouldn’t know how to handle them. I had a ~25 year old mountain ash/rowan tree with nasty surface roots that had chewed up a walkway in my yard and was starting to lift the city sidewalk. It was a beautiful tree, but too large for where it was planted, so it needed to go. I got bids from Devoted Tree Solutions and one other provider. The other provider actually gave me a lower bid, but never provided it in writing. Devoted sent me an email with their written bid, detailing everything I could expect from them (take down the tree, grind the stump, remove the wood, clean up), within minutes of their initial visit. Because I didn't want there to be any question about what they were going to do, I accepted Devoted's bid, even if it was a bit higher. I'm really glad I did. They did a fantastic job! There were three crews who came out on three separate days. One removed the tree, one ground the stump, and one hauled away the remaining wood. Each crew was extremely friendly and professional. They showed up exactly when I expected them to and did their work quickly and efficiently. Special kudos to the guy who actually climbed up into the tree to do the cutting. He was super careful when he cut the branches not to let them hit either my house or my neighbor's house, just a few feet away. Further, when he dropped the branches he cut to the ground, he did so in a way to minimize any damage or divots to the grass. Additional kudos to the grinding team, who managed to navigate the grinder through my front gate and my very narrow front yard to the stump without damaging either my front steps or my newly painted picket fence. (The other provider had said he would need to remove a section of fencing to get the grinder to the stump.) It was very impressive. There were two delays in getting the tree removed. One due to a scheduling issue and one due to an equipment issue. In both cases, Devoted informed me well in advanced, allowing me to adjust my schedule. Their communication and customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Devoted Tree Solutions, and would absolutely use them again if I ever have another tree that needs to be removed or pruned. We had a great experience! The person who came out to do the estimate was professional. They underbid the other company by a few hundred dollars. They arrived on time and were done really quickly. Our property was left the way they found it. And! The cedar has beautiful color on the previously-sad-looking top since they cut back the bottom branches! Devoted Tree Solutions were very careful to trim the trees of some long branches that hung over our neighbors yard. They worked hard and efficiently and did an excellent job. They even returned to the trees after they were finished, to trim one more branch our neighbor wanted removed. Their aim was to do a great job and keep the customer satisfied. I'm impressed. The estimator arrived on time. He called to let me know he was on the way. He listened to me. He was able to accommodate the five trees I was most concerned about as well as two more on my back-up list. Less than a week later, a crew arrived. My trees were trimmed, waste was chipped, and everything was cleaned up in an hour and a half.
